CVS Health Names Former Humana CFO Brian Kane as President of Aetna

  • CVS Health (NYSE:CVS) on Monday said it had named Brian Kane as president of its Aetna business, effective September 1.
  • Kane will replace Daniel Finke, who will be stepping down for health reasons.
  • “(Kane) will become a member of the company’s executive leadership team and report to CVS Health (CVS) President and CEO Karen S. Lynch,” the company said in a statement.
  • According to CVS, Kane most recently acted as a strategic consultant to several private equity firms focused on health care services.
  • Prior to that, Kane served as CFO at Humana (HUM).
  • CVS Health (CVS) stock earlier closed +1.5% at $75.80.
